Free life insurance for children in Massachusetts

Filed under: Life Insurance — Posted by: Rachel on October 13, 2011

When you think about life insurance, it’s not usually children that spring to mind immediately. But, of course, it is children that will benefit from any form of life insurance and parents need to be more aware of the importance of life insurance than anyone else.

An insurance company in Massachusetts, USA, is currently giving away $50,000 worth of life insurance so that children whose parents work can benefit. Parents can apply for their free life insurance next week, on October 18th and 19th and two events held in New Caney and Humble.

Parents wishing to apply need to first make an appointment via telephone, calling 281-441-3754 and speaking to the ‘Family Promise of Lake Houston’.

Life insurance is something that all parents, especially in the UK, should be considering, if they haven’t already. There are many companies in the UK offering life insurance (sadly not for free, like this offer in the US), but when you think about how your children are to be cared for should the worst happen, it’s something you need to give some serious thought to.

Do you currently have life insurance? Do you know what will happen to your children in the event of your death?
